PackCast Terms

PackCast is provided by Cold Start Software LLC as a packing checklist and trip preparation tool. You are responsible for deciding what to pack and for confirming travel, safety, baggage, weather, and destination requirements before you leave.

Forecasts, geocoding results, and packing suggestions can be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or inaccurate. Weather data depends on Apple services, including WeatherKit where available. PackCast is not an emergency, medical, aviation, maritime, or severe-weather decision system.

Baggage and airline policy checks are guidance, not a guarantee that a bag will be accepted. Airline rules, fare class, aircraft, regional partners, airport staff, and gate discretion can change the final result. Always confirm current requirements with the airline before travel.

Optional PackCast Premium purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and may be managed through RevenueCat for entitlement and restore purchase status. Subscription availability, pricing, renewals, cancellation, refunds, and restore behavior are governed by Apple's App Store terms and the purchase sheet shown at checkout. PackCast does not use external purchase links.

PackCast is provided as-is without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. Cold Start Software LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

PackCast is local-first and does not require an account. To remove local trip and checklist data from a device, edit or clear it in the app where available or remove the app from that device. For support records or privacy requests, contact Cold Start Software.
